Dr. Robert McCaslin Coming to Whitehall

Dr. Richard McCaslin, Professor of History at the University of North Texas, will be coming to Whitehall for a presentation on his latest book, Sutherland Springs, Texas: Saratoga on the Cibolo. The book is about the history of Sutherland Springs, Texas, which of course, includes the Polley family. Dr. McCaslin is a friend of the Polley family and has written and edited books about Joseph Benjamin Polley, son of Joseph Henry Polley. At this event, he will speak about his new book, as well as Old 300 and Texas Revolution history.

Keith and Robin Muschalek are excited to open the Polley Mansion to all who wish to attend this presentation and tour the historic home. There will be a few fundraisers including a silent auction for those who would like to contribute to the restoration of the Polley Mansion.
